Friends of Sandbanks Direct DepositDue to popular demand, we have now instituted a direct deposit feature for both the convenience of members wishing to renew memberships, or make donations directly to the Friends of Sandbanks. This is a secure process.
For thoes of you not familiar with the process, here are the simple steps required:
Open and log-in to your online banking accounts.
Select "Transfer (funds)" (Your bank's interface may not be exactly as described here.)
New Payee Account"Send Interac e-Transfer"
Select "Add/edit recipients"
Select "Add Recipient"
In "Recipient Field": add The Friends of Sandbanks Park
In the "Email Field:" firstname.lastname@example.org
Send transfers: I use "email", others may prefer the "mobile phone" option
You need to complete the Security Question and Answer fields. (Don't ask me why, but my bank will not allow me to complete the form unless these are filled in.)
Anything will do here, as long as the fields are completed. It is not necessary for subsequent transfers.
Click "Add recipient"
and that's all you need to register your link to the Friends of Sandbanks Account.

This will allow us to notify you about upcoming events as well as Zoom Board Meetings that all paid-up members for 2021 are invited to attend.
You should receive an email confirmation that the funds have been transferred a few minutes later:
Please note that there are no Interac Transfer Fees connected to your transfer to the Friends! Your full membership/donation will be received by the Friends of Sandbanks.
